Production and Promotion
The Art-Tech Institute supports contemporary artists to access advanced technologies and produce works with the help of scientists, actors, dancers, musicians, screenwriters, architects and social entrepreneurs.
In addition to financial support and assistance in conducting the projects, the Institute is invested in promoting the productions of artists by developing exhibitions in international institutions, events, conferences, edition of catalogs and other publications.
The research laboratories of the Art-Tech Institute connect artists to engineers, 3D designers and animators who help them design unique creations through various techniques such as 3D scanning, motion capture, machine learning, photogrammetry and lasergrammetry.
Virtual Reality allows total immersion of the viewer in a 360-degree computer-generated environment. With hand controllers or body movements, it is possible to move physically and make the virtual world interactive. The Art-Tech Institute undertakes to allow artists to create original artworks in this amazing medium which is already exhibited in museums and artfairs around the world.
Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that allows live-time integration of virtual elements into the real world. This vision of a new environment is made possible by the cameras of smartphones, tablets or augmented reality glasses. Mixed reality uses the same integration principle but allows virtual elements to interact with the real and the viewer.
The Art-Tech Institute supports contemporary artists in the creation of sculptural works and installations made using 3D printing techniques. They are accompanied in the 3D modeling or the scan of their works in order to be able to print them in the materials of their choice. Artists can access the machines available in the Institute's spaces to familiarize themselves with this type of production as part of the residency program or by developing special projects.
